This message was delivered on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma by Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar in the 10 am service.

Description:

Perhaps more harm has been done in the world by foolish people who think they are doing right than by people who deliberately act wrongly.  So when we ask the question "why do good people do bad things," we might instead ask, "how do we know if what we do is right or not?"  Many of history's worst atrocities were committed by groups who believed it was for a greater good.  In this line of thinking, Rev. Marlin brings us back to some of the shadowy corners of our own hearts, where a proper amount of skepticism can turn good intentions into positive results.
