In the Bible, there is a moment when God says about humans, "they have become like us." Well, who exactly is "us" there, and what does it mean to become like gods? As humans, we have immense power to create and destroy, but perhaps the thing that makes us *most* like "the gods" is our ability to decide what we will believe about them. Even if we were to see God face to face, we would still be responsible to interpret what we saw!
