Jun 2, 2013
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Marlin Lavanhar, Senior Minister.
Some of the most important lessons and transitions in life do not come with diplomas and festivities. We do not always have something to hang on the wall to show the world that we have made it to the other side of some test or trial. There’s an expression, “If I only knew then, what I know now…”
As we honor and recognize those who are formally graduating in this season, I thought I might offer some of the things I wished I had known when I was leaving school and heading into the adult stage of my life.
