SERMON DESCRIPTION

Earlier this month, I spent almost a week with church members and ministers from Unitarian and Universalist and UU congregations from ALL around the world. It was fascinating to meet and talk, worship and learn, play and pray with people from Austria, Australia, Belgium, Burundi, Canada, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Kenya, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nigeria, New Zealand, the Philippines, Spain, South Africa, Transylvania, and the United Kingdom. Talk about cultural differences! But despite the language barriers and the cultural gaps, we came together as one.

This Sunday we will explore the power of this free faith that unites so many people, across great distances, and despite the passage of time.
