Feb 3, 2019
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, Senior Minister, and Rev. Timea Nagy-Mátéfi, Special Guest.
Have you noticed how in the headlong rush to the future we often forget wisdom from the past. Former knowledge can be considered "out-of-date.” Yet, so many wise practices and understandings come from ancient traditions and people of the past. Perhaps there are times when we need to go back in order to move forward. This Sunday, our Partner Church minister from the Unitarian Church of Enlaka, Transylvania, The Rev. Timea Nagy-Mátéfi will join us as we draw wisdom from the roots of Unitarianism, as far back as 1568 in Europe, and from other sources of love and transformation.
