SERMON DESCRIPTION
Unity and Diversity is the anthemic motto of the United States, but has never been fully expressed or experienced, except perhaps in times of national catastrophe. To accomplish this concept of the Beloved community, we must understand that we don’t have to go along to get along, that we can mind many of the same things without necessarily having the same mind about everything. E pluribus Unum means out of many One. On a spiritual level, I say “Out of One Essence Many.” This is an important aspect of Universalism.
