May 31, 2015
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Tanner Phillips, Youth Coordinator, and Rev. Barbara Prose, Executive Director of Ministry.
At high school and college graduations around the country, commencement speakers will try to impart some wisdom to inspire and guide the graduates as they transition into the next phase of their lives. Mostly, they will share the lessons their own lives have taught them, because we learn by living and develop wisdom by examining our own lives. What wisdom have you gleaned from your own life? What would you tell a graduate today? Tanner Phillips and I will explore life itself as the greatest teacher of all. What has your life taught you and how will you share that hard won wisdom with others?
