SERMON DESCRIPTION
My favorite scriptural covenant is recorded as something Jesus said in the Gospel of Luke 10:27, ”Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind”; and “Love your neighbor as yourself” which suggests both vertical and horizontal covenant. Our history with indigenous people on this continent is the story of repeatedly broken covenants. How does our covenant with God impact and influence our agreements with each other?
