Aug 7, 2016
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, Senior Minister.
This summer, I took to learning the flying trapeze. This experience and the art of flying trapeze is a great metaphor for life and spiritual growth. One has to know when and how to hold on and when to let go. A person has to have faith, or at least trust, in themselves to let go and in the catcher to grab hold. Our Summer of Living Dangerously series continues with Commitment being the theme for August. Commit to joining us. I'll be talking about taking flight, when to hold on, and when to let go.
