Aug 2, 2015
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rabbi Micah Citrin, Guest Minister.
Love is a universal principle understood in different ways by distinct cultures and religions. In Judaism, love is a core value for how we relate to God and other people. Jewish tradition associates love with distinct actions that stem from one’s sense of self and the dignity of the other. A deeper understanding of love from this perspective can help us to bring Shalom, peace, and balance to our world.
