Sep 13, 2015

The sermon was delivered on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Barbara Prose, Executive Director of Ministry.

SERMON DESCRIPTION

When Jesus returned to his hometown of Nazareth to preach, the people who knew him best tried to throw him off a cliff and kill him (Luke 4:21-32). We all know our differences can create disagreements that lead to divorce, debate, and sometimes even death. Still, we come together on Sundays to worship in a diverse community of strangers and friends.

How comfortable are you with conflict? How do you deal with disagreement? This Sunday we’ll explore ways to dig into and deal with our differences, because we are the ones who will decide what our differences will create...together.
