Jan 7, 2018
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Bishop Carlton D. Pearson, Affiliate Minister.
We are starting off the new year with the topic of love. Love is a human disease or dis-ease that all humans are afflicted and inflicted with. This 'divine' infliction is incurable and sometimes terminal, but always treatable.
Scripture says love is patient. I say love is a patient and in need of constant,"affordable" healthcare. Whether Agape, Eros, Platonic or Phileo, love not only cares but needs care, and we are both the caregivers and caretakers. Join me to learn ways to manage the pleasure, privileges, and pathos of love.
