Author and professor Cornell West often reminds us that justice is just love in public. I believe love in public, unfortunately, requires struggle – from Seneca Falls to Selma and Stonewall. To reference President Obama, we have witnessed how struggle can lead to justice. Conflict, therefore, is not always a bad thing. Come ride with me on this freedom train onto the battlefield.
