Mar 4, 2018
The message was delivered on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Barbara Prose, Executive Director of Ministry, at the Humanist Service.
The experiences of women, in the workplace and at home, inevitably lead back to what it means to live in this world as a woman. The #MeToo movement tells us all an important truth. Let's begin Women's History Month, and this month's theme about transformation, by lifting up the women in our lives, each other, and the voices of women and girls which are emerging today. The women of the Adult Music Program will come together in a Women’s Chorale to sing the Women's March anthem, Quiet by Milck. All choir members, including our Children and Youth Choirs, will join them to sing Mavis Staples' song, Action. In the Traditional service, children will join us for a Story for All Ages.
