Feb 9, 2014
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Randy Lewis, Adjunct Minister.
Freedom is defined as liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another. All over the world, there are those longing for, fighting for and standing for freedom. In America, these freedoms are often taken for granted. In the “land of the free”, we see freedom as our birth right; something that was earned long ago by people we read about in history books. In reality, we should ask ourselves whether we have done the work necessary to claim our right to freedom and if our work for freedom is really done.
